Giants

I’m concerned, yeah,” Coughlin said Tuesday, via Tom Rock of Newsday. “Yeah, yeah I am. I would like to see him get out there and be able to stay out there. That’s what our real intent is. As soon as that can be done, that’s what will happen.”

Texans

Texans backup QB Ryan Mallett said he was “disappointed” with the news that Brian Hoyer has won the starting job.

“Obviously, I’m disappointed. I don’t agree with it. I’ll do what I have to do to better the team,” Mallett said, via Aaron Wilson.

“I thought I had a pretty good camp. I thought I was consistent. I wanted this job more than anything,” Mallett added, per Wilson.
