Broncos

• Broncos WR Demaryius Thomas said of QB Peyton Manning: “I know you’re not going to believe this but it seems like he has more zip.” (Mike Klis)

Jets

• Jets HC Todd Bowles sounded resigned to the possibility that DE Sheldon Richardson will receive additional suspension from the NFL as a consequence for his recent arrest. (Rich Cimini)

• The Lions will pick up $100,000 in available cap space following OLB DeAndre Levy‘s extension. (Joel Corry)

Seahawks

• According to Andrew Brandt, Seahawks QB Russell Wilson‘s new contract does not include a “prohibition on baseball.”

Texans

Texans owner Bob McNair said that he wasn’t surprised by RB Arian Foster‘s recent groin injury.

“I’ve recognized how vulnerable he is,” McNair said, via the Houston Chronicle. “It seems like every year he’s had some type of soft-tissue injury. We just keep our fingers crossed and hope it won’t happen, but he seems to be vulnerable to that type of thing.”
