NFL Notes: Broncos, Packers, Raiders, Saints, & Titans

Broncos

  • Broncos QB Peyton Manning officially passed Brett Favre‘s record of 71.838 yards passing as the NFL’s all-time leader.

Packers

Rob Demovsky of ESPN writes that Packers RB Eddie Lacy is facing a crossroads in his this year in the NFL.

Lacy has dealt with injuries this season, and is on pace to rush for just 616 yards in 2015 after back-to-back 1,100 yard seasons.

Another concern has been Lacy’s weight. A source familiar with his conditioning tells Demovsky that Lacy, who is listed at 234 pounds, needs to “get down to 240 pounds.”

Raiders

Former 49ers owner Eddie DeBartolo Jr. released a statement refuting the report that he’s in talks with the Raiders about possibly purchasing a minority share of the team.

Raiders owner Mark Davis also denied that the report, but added that he’s still willing to discuss selling a minority share of the team.

Saints

Saints HC Sean Payton wouldn’t comment about potential staff changes during their bye week after another poor defensive performance in Week 10.

“Not going to sit here post game and answer those questions. Next question,” Payton said, per Katherine Terrell.

Titans

  • Based on available video, David Chao believes Titans WR Justin Hunter has an ankle fracture/dislocation that will require surgery and lead to him being placed on season-ending injured reserve.
  • After the game, Hunter was sporting crutches in the locker room. (John Glennon)
