NFL Notes: Broncos, Ravens & Vikings

Broncos

GM John Elway said that the team will “have a plan” regarding the expiring contract of OLB Von Miller.

However, Elway admits that the team has many players with contracts that will need to be addressed, and that retaining all of them may not be possible.

We will have a plan for Von next year as well as with other players. We have several other really good football players coming into their last year,” said Elway, via the Broncos’ official site. “We’ll monitor as many as we can. It’s impossible to hold on to everybody in the salary cap era, but we’re going to do the very best we can to keep them all.”

Ravens

  • Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun believes Patriots K Stephen Gostowski‘s new four-year, $17.2 million deal will be the framework for K Justin Tucker‘s possible extension.
  • Regardless, Wilson adds that nothing is imminent between Baltimore and Tucker at this point in time.

Vikings

  • Vikings G Brandon Fusco is expected to be full participant in training camp, after recovering from an offseason surgery to repair a torn pectoral muscle. (Andrew Krammer)
