NFL Notes: Browns, Buccaneers, Chiefs, Dolphins, Eagles

Browns

• Pro Football Talk is reporting that the signing of Kenny Britt doesn’t necessarily rule out them re-signing free agent Terrelle Pryor, but it seems unlikely Pryor returns at this point in time

Buccaneers

• Adam Caplan reports that the Buccaneers have tendered QB Ryan Griffin at the original-round level, but they’re interested in signing him to an extension.
• The original-round tender will cost the Buccaneers around $1.797 million for the 2017 season and give them the right of first refusal for any offer sheet he receives from another team during free agency.

Chiefs

• Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Chiefs are placing a low-level restricted tender on WR Albert Wilson.

Dolphins

• The Dolphins placed an original-round tender on RB Damien Williams.
• Miami also restructured the contract of defensive end Nick Williams.

Eagles

• Eliot Shorr-Parks reports that the Eagles had interest in Patriots free agent CB Logan Ryan, but their offer was not good enough to keep them in the running.
• Zach Berman reports that the Eagles will not tender an offer to restricted free agent RB Kenjon Barner, which means he’ll be an unrestricted free agent.
