Browns

  • It could be a good sign that Browns‘ WR Josh Gordon and his attorneys are heading back to New York on Monday to resume ongoing appeal hearing. (Mary Kay Cabot)

Chiefs

  • Eric Berry returned to practice after missing a few of days with a sore heel and was able to practice in full. (Adam Teicher)
  • The Chiefs are slowly working first-round pick OLB Dee Ford into their lineup in obvious passing situations. (Adam Teicher)

Jaguars

  • First-round pick QB Blake Bortles had a strong showing in the team’s Saturday scrimmage. HC Gus Bradley mentioned that “he’s starting to get it.” (Michael DiRocco)

Jets

  • The chemistry between Jets’ receivers has improved with Santonio Holmes no longer on their roster. (Rich Cimini)

Steelers

  • HC Mike Tomlin has been keeping a close eye on the team’s “unheralded backs” including Tauren Poole, Miguel Maysonet and Josh Harris as they are competing for a roster spot. (Scott Brown)
