NFL Notes: Browns, Cowboys, Giants, Jets, Rams & Redskins

Browns

• TE Jordan Cameron will not play in Week 13 due to a concussion he sustained in Week 8. (Tom Reed)

Cowboys

• Todd Archer of ESPN believes the Cowboys will pursue QB Robert Griffin III should he be released.

Giants

• DE Mathias Kiwanuka will not play in Week 13 due to a knee injury. (Patricia Traina)
• Dan Graziano of ESPN believes that HC Tom Coughlin and GM Jerry Reese‘s jobs are safe unless the team finishes with a sub 5-11 record. Graziano also states that Coughlin would offered to retire rather than being fired.
• Giants are expected to make several changes to the defensive coaching staff starting with DC Perry Fewell this offseason. (Dan Graziano)

Jets

• Rich Cimini of ESPN believes the Jets will have to trade up for QB Marcus Mariota or QB Jameis Winston in the 2015 NFL Draft, but could take a wait and see approach for Winston if his stock falls.
• Jets are expected to eye QB Nick Foles in a trade if the Eagles were to place Foles on the trade block. (Rich Cimini)
• Rich Cimini of ESPN expects the Jets and WR Percy Harvin to renegotiate his $10.5 million salary in 2015.

Rams

• Rams activated DE Chris Long (ankle) from the designated to return list. (Ian Rapoport)

Redskins

• John Keim of ESPN wrote that “one executive” believes QB Robert Griffin III would fetch just a “fifth or sixth” round draft pick should he be traded.
