  • Despite reports that mentioned Raiders owner Mark Davis is building bridges among NFL owners, Jason Cole reports that the league wants him out as owner as soon as possible.

Seahawks

This is after the recent extensions for DE Cliff Avril and LB K.J. Wright.

According to Corry,  Avril and Wright’s base salary injury guarantees become fully guaranteed five days after the waiver period starts.

  • Wright will have cap figures of: $4.75M (2015), $6.25M (2016), $6.8M (2017) and $8.2M (2018).
  • Avril will have cap figures of: $8M (2015), $6.5M (2016), $5.5M (2017) and $8M (2018).

Corry mentions that both contracts include $16 million in guarantees with $2.5 million of Avril’s guarantees coming as a signing bonus while Wright receives a $5 million signing bonus.
