Browns

  • QB Brian Hoyer mentioned that he would to remain with the Browns, but he’s willing to play elsewhere for the opportunity to start.

“I’m from Cleveland and I want to be here…but also a competitor,” Hoyer said, per Mary Kay Cabot. “I want to be somewhere where I’m playing.

Giants

  • WR Victor Cruz underwent successful patellar tendon surgery on Monday.

Raiders

  • Interim HC Tony Sparano has reportedly been well received by the Raiders’ players. (Ian Rapoport)

Rams

  • Rookie OL Greg Robinson will make his first NFL start in against the 49ers.
  • Rookie DT Aaron Donald will make his first NFL start in against the 49ers.
  • Rookie RB Tre Mason is active for the first time in his brief career.

Seahawks

  • HC Pete Carroll said that CB Richard Sherman‘s shoulder issue is “fine” and he’ll play in Week 7. (Gregg Bell)
  • Carroll mentioned that LB Bobby Wagner has turf toe injury and will see how things go this week before determining his status for Week 7. (Bob Condotta)
