NFL Notes: Browns, Giants, Rams, & Ravens

Browns

ESPN’s Adam Schefter, writes that chances are that Browns QB Brian Hoyer moves on after this season this.

Interestingly enough, Schefter mentions that the Texans could be a team to keep an eye on as given that there is “huge mutual respect” between Hoyer and Texans HC Bill O’Brien.

Giants

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, some around the league believe Giants HC Tom Coughlin could be coaching his final four games.

However, Schefter adds that Coughlin is likely to have “plenty of say whether this is the end” for him in New York.

Schefter points out that the Giants do have some winnable games ahead of them, so it will be interesting to see if their final four games impact his standing with the team.

Rams

• Adam Schefter writes that “the Rams’ entire offseason will be devoted to getting a quarterback, whether it’s through a trade, the draft or free agency.”
• Schefter doesn’t see any way St. Louis goes into next season with Shaun Hill and Austin Davis as their top-two options.

Ravens

• Adam Schefter doesn’t rule out the possibility of Ravens WR Torrey Smith departing as a free agent next year.
