Titans rookie QB Marcus Mariota mentioned that he “never had any contact” with the Browns, even though Cleveland hired Kevin O’Connell, who worked with the Heisman trophy in preparation for the draft, as their quarterbacks coach.
“There was a lot of scenarios,’‘ Mariota said, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer. “I never had any contact with the Browns. Um, so, yeah.”
Jaguars
Ryan O’Halloran of the Florida Times Union offered his first attempt at projecting the team’s 53-man roster.
Some of the notable players cut include: QB Stephen Morris, QB Jeff Tuel, RB Storm Johnson, RB Bernard Pierce, seventh-round TE Ben Koyack, WR Tandon Doss, WR Arrelious Benn, and LB Khairi Fortt.
Redskins
