• OC Dirk Koetter told reporters on Tuesday that WR Devin Hester has “played his way into more plays” on offense. (Vaughn McClure)

Jets

• The Jets signed CB Brandon Smith to their practice squad following his tryout Tuesday. (Rich Cimini)

Titans

• An MRI on QB Jake Locker‘s wrist did not show any structural damage, just a strain. (Jim Wyatt)
