Draft Notes: Buccaneers, Dolphins, Falcons, Ravens, & Titans

Buccaneers

  • Buccaneers GM Jason Licht tells Ed Werder that trade inquiries for the No. 1 overall pick are starting to increase.

Dolphins

  • Despite the buzz that the Dolphins could draft Georgia RB Todd Gurley at No. 14 overall, Alex Marvez is hearing that Miami is interested in coming away with a receiver in the first round.

Falcons

  • Vaughn McClure of ESPN writes that “all signs point to the Falcons prioritizing running back in the draft.”

Ravens

  • Aaron Wilson reports that Penn State TE Jesse James worked out for Ravens.

Titans

  • Jeff Darlington reports that the Titans aren’t just taking calls regarding the No. 2 overall pick — they’re making calls, too.
  • According to Darlington, the Titans want to be inside the top 16 or 17 picks to ensure that they get an impact player.
  • Darlington mentions that if the Eagles were to get involved they would need to get creative.
  • However, the trade activity for the No. 2 overall pick has been minimal, but that is expected to change as the day plays out, per Darlington.
