NFL Notes: Bucs, Cardinals, Lions, & Ravens

Buccaneers

  • Greg Auman believes the Buccaneers will be in a good position to sign a top-tier receiver or select one high in the 2017 NFL Draft.
  • However, he is unsure if Tampa Bay would give up draft picks to acquire Bears WR Alshon Jeffery in a trade.

Cardinals

  • Cardinals HC Bruce Arians said that LT Jared Veldheer fractured a finger during Week 7 but “should be fine.” (Tom Pelissero)

Lions

  • According to Howard Balzer, the Lions worked out three guards on Tuesday including Jake Bernstein, Isame Faciane, and Matt Rotheram.
  • Detroit signed Rotheram to their practice squad. (NFLTR)

Ravens

Ravens HC John Harbaugh admitted that WR Breshard Perriman‘s learning curve has gone slower than he has hoped but still intends on getting him up to speed.

I told him, ‘I just am impatient. You have all this talent, and there is a lot to learn, but I just want to speed the curve up,'” Harbaugh said, via Jeff Zrebeic of The Baltimore Sun. “Obviously, he said that he could not agree more. We just have to keep chasing it. It is going to happen, and let’s try to make it happen sooner rather than later.”
