Calvin Johnson

Former Lions WR Calvin Johnson made it clear during an interview with SiriusXM NFL Radio that he won’t be returning to the NFL.

“I’m not coming back,” Johnson said, via the Sporting News. “I’m enjoying my time off. I’m enjoying things I couldn’t do when I was playing.”

When asked if the Lions have attempted to repair their relationship with him, Johnson said: “Ahh … no. They say they have, but no.”

According to Jeremiah, the three quarterback prospects that everyone will be talking about a year from are likely to be N.C. State’s Ryan Finley, Missouri’s Drew Lock and Auburn’s Jarrett Stidham.

Cowboys

  • Todd Archer reports that RBs coach Gary Brown is expected to return to the Cowboys, despite drawing interest from the Raiders and Texans.
  • Archer also reports that the Cowboys will meet with Giants OL coach Mike Solari regarding a position on their staff.
  • Regarding Tom Cable, who was hired by the Raiders on Saturday, the Cowboys had “some interest“, but never set up an interview for him.
