Cam Robinson

• Alabama OT Cam Robinson, who is considered to be one of top college players in the country, was arrested early Tuesday morning on a felony charge of illegal possession of stolen firearms and a misdemeanor charge of possession of a controlled dangerous substance. (CFB 24/7)

Giants

• The Giants offered former Dolphins HC Joe Philbin an assistant coaching position before he agreed to join Chuck Pagano’s staff as the Colts’ offensive line coach. (Mike Wells)

Jets

• According to Rich Cimini of ESPN, the Jets and franchise DL Muhammad Wilkerson “aren’t close” to a long-term contract.
• Cimini believes it’s possible that Wilkerson may not report to the team for a few months, barring a breakthrough regarding a new contract before the July 15 deadline.
• Cimini doesn’t think a trade involving Wilkerson is a realistic option, given that they haven’t found any takers for him over the last serveral months.

Patriots

• The Patriots included $30,000 guaranteed in undrafted free agent RB D.J. Foster’s three-year deal. (Mike Reiss)
