Jets

Jets DL Muhammad Wilkerson mentioned that he isn’t sure if he’ll open training camp on the team’s PUP list, but he did say that he plans to be ready for the start of the regular season.

“I don’t know right now,” Wilkerson said, via NJ.com. “I’m just going to continue to keep rehabbing. And whatever the strength coaches and training staff have in store for me, that’s what I’m going to keep on doing. I’ll be ready for Week 1. When the training staff and the strength coaches and the coaches feel that it’s time for me to get out there on the [practice] field, and I’m ready to go, then I’ll be out there.

Redskins

  • Sources have told Mike Freeman that the Redskins likes QB Kirk Cousins, but they don’t love him. Freeman adds that Washington is willing to let him go and target someone else if needed.
  • Even so, Freeman believes the Redskins should try to keep Cousins at all costs.
