Broncos

  • According to CBS SF Bay Area, Broncos S Ryan Murphy was detained and released by San Jose police in a prostitution sting Tuesday evening.
  • The Broncos announced they are sending Murphy back to Denver, but he will remain with the practice squad.

Chargers

  • Chargers officially announce Dave DeGuglielmo as their new offensive line coach.
  • DeGuglielmo has held previous professional coaching positions with the Patriots, Jets, Dolphins and Giants.
  • Alex Marvez reports the Chargers are interviewing former Giants and Panthers LB Chase Blackburn for their assistant special teams coach job.

Jets

  • Joel Corry of CBS Sports believes the Jets could use 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick‘s interest in playing for them as leverage in extension negotiations with impending free agent QB Ryan Fitzpatrick.
  • Adam Caplan reports the Jets are hiring former Colts assistant special teams coach Brant Boyer as their new special teams coach.
  • Boyer has spent the last four seasons as the Colts’ assistant special teams coach.

Saints
