Chiefs

• RB Jamaal Charles returned to practice on Thursday and was working with scout team. (Adam Teicher)

Colts

• Colts owner Jim Irsay’s trial for two misdemeanor charges has been postponed until October 30. (Albert Breer)

Dolphins

• TE Charles Clay practiced in full this and is optimistic about playing this weekend. (James Walker)

Falcons

• WR Drew Davis will begin the year on the reserve/PUP list after undergoing foot surgery back in June. (Vaughn McClure)

Redskins

• HC Jay Gruden mentioned that it’s hard to say if DE Stephen Bowen will be available for the team’s first game of the season. (Redskins)

Texans

• HC Bill O’Brien mentioned that rookie OLB Jadeveon Clowney is “fine” and they decided to give him a day off. O’Brien added that they’re unsure if he’s going to play this weekend. (Jason La Canfora)

Titans

• Backup QB Charlie Whitehurst is not expected to play against the Falcons this weekend. (Jim Wyatt)
