  • Cowboys VP of Stephen Jones mentioned that there’s “too big of a divide” between the them and WR Dez Bryant in regards to a long-term contract extension.

Eagles

Eagles QB Sam Bradford mentioned the he expects to have ready for the start of training camp.

“If I’m not ready for 11-on-11 by training camp, then I think something has gone terribly wrong,” Bradford said, via the Philadelphia Inquirer. “That’s the plan right now.”

  • Eagles HC Chip Kelly confirmed that second-round pick Eric Rowe will play cornerback for them. (Eagles Insider)
  • Kelly mentioned that he’s seen consistent improvement from QB Tim Tebow since they signed him. (Eagles Insider)

Titans

Titans HC Ken Whisenhunt didn’t rule out the possibility of signing free agent G Evan Mathis at some point.

I think that has kind of been our philosophy during the offseason, looking for ways to get better,” Whisenhunt said, via the Tennessean. “He is a good player. I saw where he said he’s in no hurry to sign, so we’ll see what happens.”
