NFL Notes: Chiefs, Dolphins, Packers, & Ravens

 

Chiefs

  • Sanders Commings suffered a fractured ankle and fibula in training camp. There is currently no timetable for his return. (Terez Paylor)
  • OL Jeff Allen has received a “significant” amount of snaps at left tackle and right tackle with the first-team offense. (Adam Teicher)
  • WR Mark Harrison chances of making the team is probably gone following a hamstring injury. (Adam Teicher)
  • The Chiefs are monitoring the development of safeties Malcolm Bronson and Daniel Sorensen. (Adam Teicher)

Dolphins

Packers

  • Packers’ fifth-round picks — WR Jared Abbrederis and C Corey Linsley — did not practice Friday due to injuries. (Rob Demovsky)
  • HC Mike McCarthy mentioned that Abbrederis has a knee injury, but there has been some online speculation that it could be worse than it appears.

Ravens

  • The Ravens feel like they came away from the draft with two first-round picks in LB C.J. Mosley and DT Timmy Jernigan. (Albert Breer)
  • The Ravens still have safety issues, which explains the Will Hill signing. They could use more from first-round pick Matt Elam as well. (Albert Breer)
