NFL Notes: Colin Kaepernick, Eagles, Ravens, Saints

Colin Kaepernick

An NFC executive tells Jeremy Fowler of ESPN that Colin Kaepernick is the “most physically gifted” free agent quarterback still available.

Of the remaining (three), Kaepernick is the most physically gifted and would likely be the choice, but not until I worked him out and had him in for a physical,” the executive said.

An AFC executive listed Kaepernick, Robert Griffin III, Dan Orlovsky and Shaun Hill as the top four quarterback options.

Eagles HC Doug Pederson admitted that there’s a chance they could move LT Jason Peters to guard in the coming years.

“It’s hard to speculate,” Pederson said, via “Guard could be a potential spot down the road. We’ll cross that bridge [when we get to it]. Right now, he’s the left tackle and Lane [Johnson] is the right tackle.”

The Eagles announced that they’ve signed Peters to a one-year extension (NFLTR) on Wednesday.

I can tell you Week 1, I will be out there for sure. ” Yanda said, per Jamison Hensley.
