Mark Geragos, the attorney for QB Colin Kaepernick, hinted that there could be some news regarding his client possibly joining an NFL team at some point in the near future.
“I’ve been pilloried for the idea that I said a year ago he’s gonna get a contract in 10 days,” Geragos tells TMZ.com. “I would just say stay tuned, that next week there may be some news.”
According to Geragos, the Raiders and Patriots are both worth watching.
“I’ve got two other teams that will remain nameless,” Geragos said.
“I’ll just say this, ‘If Al Davis was still alive.’ That’s all I’m gonna say.”
Geragos was asked whether he’s aware that Meek Mill is writing a Kaepernick anthem and responded: “You know who Meek Mill was visited by when he was in custody?”
Someone off camera said “Robert Kraft” to which Geragos responded: “Bingo!”
