NFL Notes: Colts, Cowboys, Panthers, Redskins, & Titans

Colts

Colts OC Pep Hamilton told reporters that recently RB Ahmad Bradshaw will be “tossed into the offensive mix” if he’s active for Sunday’s game against the Patriots, per Mike Chappell.

Cowboys

Cowboys RBs coach Gary Brown was asked about Christine Michael‘s comfort level in their offense.

I think he’s where he needs to be, and we want to take the reins off him and let him rock,” Brown  said, per David Helman.

Panthers

  • Panthers HC Ron Rivera said they will likely declare DE Jared Allen inactive for Sunday’s game. (Steve Reed)

Redskins

  • Redskins HC Jay Gruden said WR DeSean Jackson felt a “twinge” in his hamstring after going for a deep ball during Thursday’s practice. (Liz Clarke)
  • Jackson took himself out of practice and stayed out of the session. However, Gruden said they’re still hopeful to have Jackson back for Sunday’s game. (Liz Clarke)

Titans

  • Titans sixth-round pick LB Deiontrez Mount suffered a torn ACL during Wednesday’s practice and will miss the remainder of the season. (Terry McCormick)
