Eagles

Eagles DC Jim Schwartz refuted recent rumors that indicated he is “angling” to take the head coaching job away from Doug Pederson.

I’ll say this, and I’ll say this unequivocally: I am very comfortable with my relationship with Doug Pederson,” said Schwartz, via Matt Lombardo of NJ Advance Media. “I know he’s comfortable in his relationship with me. What I do here is, I work extremely hard to execute the defense the way that he has outlined it for me. OK? I’m very comfortable with that. Not everybody is privy to those instructions.

If anybody misunderstands or misinterprets any actions, just know this: Coach Pederson is aware of everything that I do in this building and outside of the building.”

Patriots

  • According to Howard Balzer, the Patriots worked out LS Taybor Pepper and P Austin Rehkow on Tuesday.

Ravens

  • Ravens QB Joe Flacco said that RB Michael Campanaro could be someone to step up in RB Danny Woodhead‘s (hamstring) absence: “Hopefully, we have some guys that can step up and hit some plays. Mike Campanaro is one of those quick little guys that can do stuff on the side.” (Jamison Hensley)
