NFL Notes: Content, Draft, Bears, Patriots & Vikings

The NFL recently began clamping down on teams posting highlights on their social media accounts during the game, which has drawn the ire of at least a few teams.

However, Jason La Canfora reports that Patriots president Jonathan Kraft and Cowboys owner Jerry Jones got into a heated argument at the owners’ meetings two weeks ago in Houston about the subject.

Kraft happens to be the chairman of the NFL’s digital media committee and has been a driving force behind the NFL’s decision to stop teams from posting highlight on social media during games, according to La Canfora.

Jones, on the hand, believes that what happens during a game is team-generated content and wants the rules to be relaxed.

Sources tell La Canfora that the argument between the two got so testy that Kraft had to leave the room.
