NFL Notes: Cowboys, Colts, Lions, & Saints

Cowboys

Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys and suspended DT Josh Brent have reached an agreement on a modified suspension that will allow him to take part in team meetings this week.

Colts

  • RB Ahmad Bradshaw tweaked his ankle during Sunday’s win over the Titans, but was able to return. Bradshaw was seen sporting a walking boot on his left foot after the game as a precaution. (Mike Wells)

Lions

  • HC Jim Caldwell told reporters after the game that they basically used WR Calvin Johnson (ankle) as a decoy during Sunday’s game.

“They still had to account for him,” Caldwell said, via Michael Rothstein of ESPN.com. “We might not have done all of the things that we normally do with him. We just tried to make certain we stayed within the framework of what he could do physically.”
