NFL Notes: Cowboys, Eagles, Lions, & Seahawks

Cowboys

Cowboys free agent WR Dez Bryant mentioned that he’s “very confident” they’ll be able to get a long-term agreement in place that will keep him in Dallas.

“Regardless, I’m a Cowboy,” Bryant said, via the Dallas Morning News. “But it is what it is. It’s business. I am a free agent. I’m very confident that something is going to happen, something is going to get done, and have these Cowboys fans excited for a long time.

“I’m a Cowboy at heart. It’s Cowboys forever.”

Eagles

Lions

Impending free agent G Rob Sims said that he would “love” to return to Detroit next season.

This is our home,” Sims said of Detroit, via Tim Twentyman of DetroitLions.com. “My children were born here. Me and my wife have built our family here and bought businesses here. Detroit is never ever going to leave me. My heart and my charity work will always be here. But yeah, I would love to stay here, love to.

Seahawks

  • Seahawks CB Jeremy Lane was carted off the field with an air cast on his injured arm.
  • After seeing the video, David Chao believes Lane may have fractures to his radius and ulna bones, which would require offseason surgery involving plates and screws.
