  • According to Mike Leslie, Cowboys WR Dez Bryant was seen walking through the Cowboys locker room without a cast or wrap on his injured foot.
  • Leslie adds that Bryant appeared to be comfortable.
  • Cowboys TE Jason Witten says the swelling has gone down and he “will be fine” for Sunday’s game against the Falcons. (Charean Williams)




  • Panthers HC Ron Rivera says LB Luke Kuechly is still in the leagues concussion protocol and, as a result, did not practice Wednesday. Although, he did do some “light work.” (Kelli Bartik)


  • Saints signed TE Connor Hamlett to their practice squad. (Evan Woodbery)
  • Saints QB Drew Brees says he intends to play Sunday against the Panthers this weekend.
  • Brees mentioned that he knew something was off in last Sunday’s game because he had felt it before in his other shoulder. (Mike Garafolo)
  • Brees was limited Wednesday and participated in a few drills, but did not throw.
  • Brees added he doesn’t want to miss any games, and intends to “be smart” with this injury.
