  • Jason La Canfora reports that Bills owner Terry Pegula would still like to find a football czar to oversee the team.
  • Tim Graham reports that “power jockeys” in Bills front office spoke ill of Bill Polian in Doug Marrone‘s presence. While leaving the Bills, Marrone reportedly told Polian of what was said and Polian brought it up to owner Terry Pegula.
  • According to Graham, whoever is hired as the new Bills’ head coach will report directly to Pegula.
  • John Clayton of ESPN reports that had Bill Polian taken a job with the Bills, he would have considered former Chargers GM A.J. Smith for a role in the team’s front office.

  • Packers promoted Eliot Wolf to director of player personnel.

Seahawks

  • Seahawks NT Justin Renfrow to their practice squad yesterday.
  • Seahawks released DT Jimmy Staten from their practice squad yesterday.
