ESPN’s Andrew Brandt does not see any way the Patriots pick up CB Darrelle Revis‘ $20 million option next year.

FXFL

• Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk reports that the NFL has not asked the FXFL to implement any rules, of any kind, despite Omaha Mammoths coach Sandy Buda suggesting as much.

Cardinals

• HC Bruce Arians told reporters after Sunday’s game that QB Carson Palmer threw 20 times today and he will remain in Denver to continue getting treatment on neck. (Josh Weinfuss)
• DE Calais Campbell will miss 3-4 weeks with an MCL sprain. (Kent Somers)

Eagles

• ILB DeMeco Ryans suffered a groin injury during Sunday’s win over the Rams and was not seen in the postgame locker room. (Phil Sheridan)

• HC Rex Ryan announced after Sunday’s game that Geno Smith will remain the starting quarterback in Week 6, despite the fact that he was benched in favor of Michael Vick. (Rich Cimini)
