Darren Sharper

• Fletcher Mackel of WDSU-TV reports that former NFL S Darren Sharper and co-defendant Brandon Licciardi have also been indicted on federal drug charges relating to the allegations of date rape.
• If convicted, the two men would face life in prison.

Chargers

• Chargers signed CB Greg Ducre to their practice squad. (Michael Gehlken)
• Chargers released T Bryce Quigley from their practice squad. (Michael Gehlken)

Lions

• Lions hosted Rugby star Jarryd Hayne for a visit on Friday. (Aaron Wilson)

Redskins

• John Keim of ESPN reports that QB Colt McCoy has been cleared to play and will get the start in Sunday’s game against the Giants.

Vikings

• The Vikings will be without rookie OLB Anthony Barr (knee), S Robert Blanton (ankle/knee), DT Sharrif Floyd (knee) and G Charlie Johnson (ankle) for Sunday’s game against the Lions. (Ben Goessling)
