Free agent CB Antoine Cason announced via his Instagram account that he will miss the entire 2015 season as he recovers from surgery.
Had surgery this morning to fix an ongoing problem. Due to the surgery I will miss the 2015 season 😢 .. Tough decision but it was one that needed to be made and I am home and well!
I’ve played 21 straight seasons in my life and this will be the first season I miss. I appreciate everyone who has supported me to this point in my life and career, thank you .. and this too shall pass!
Titans
Titans No. 2 overall pick QB Marcus Mariota mentioned that “it’s going to take some time” before his contract in finalized.
“Obviously, it’s a business deal,” said Mariota at the NFL’s mandatory Rookie Symposium, via FoxSports.com. “It’s going to take some time. That’s why you hire your agent.”
Mariota is one of just three rookies from the 2015 draft class who has yet to sign his contract.
