NFL Notes: DeMarco Murray, Draft, Bears, Cardinals, Dolphins

DeMarco Murray

Matt Williamson of ESPN offers his take on the teams that make the most sense for impending free agent RB DeMarco Murray.

According to Williamson, Murray’s best option would be to return to the Cowboys next year.

However, if Murray were to test the open market, Williamson believes the Titans, Raiders, Colts, Falcons, Chargers and Patriots could be teams to keep an eye on for his services.

We have Murray listed as the No. 9 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.

Draft

  • FSU DT Eddie Goldman will enter the 2015 NFL Draft. (Rand Getlin)

Bears

  • Zach Zaidman reports that new Bears GM Ryan Pace has fired director of pro personnel Kevin Turks.

Cardinals

Dolphins

James Walker of ESPN writes that the Dolphins are unlikely to have the money necessary to retain backup QB Matt Moore at his current salary.

Moore mentioned that he isn’t sure if he’ll be back with the Dolphins next year given that he will be an unrestricted free agent.

“If the situation is right, that will happen,” Moore said. “If there’s a situation elsewhere that is intriguing, it might also happen. …I’m going to kind of feel my way through it.
