Dez Bryant
Todd Archer of ESPN Dallas writes that the Cowboys’ new way of handling long-term contracts is impacting their situation with WR Dez Bryant.
In the past, Dallas has aggressive in signing players to long-term extension. However, they have recently been focused on “team friendly” contracts like the deal signed by LT Tyron Smith and ILB Sean Lee.
Archer mentions that the Cowboys won’t be afraid to pay Bryant big money in time, but as of now, they appear to be approaching the situation with much for caution than in the past.
Adrian Peterson
Jason La Canfora is continuing to hear that a ruling from the NFL regarding additional discipline for Vikings RB Adrian Peterson will come today, and possibly before his arbitration hearing scheduled for 2 pm.
