NFL Notes: Dez Bryant, Bills & Dolphins

Dez Bryant

According to Tom Steele of the Dallas Morning News, Texas Sen. Royce West filed a lawsuit against Cowboys WR Dez Bryant alleging that he caused $60,000 in damage to a home.

West referred to Bryant as “negligent and abusive” in regards to his treatment of the home, which was “littered with trash and feces, missing blinds and shutters, with cracked windows and blackened carpeting” after Bryant moved out in January.

The senator is seeking between $100,000 and $200,000 in damages from Bryant.

Bills

Bills owner Terry Pegula mentioned during an interview with the WGR 550 that other NFL owners believe they need a new stadium now that it’s among the oldest in the league.

“It’s discussed. Do you have a plan to build a stadium? We’re a different market than L.A.,” Pegula said, per WGR 550. “…Other owners think we need a new stadium. Our stadium is one of the oldest in the league.”

Pegula added that it’s still too early in the process to have any preference for where a new facility would be located.

“It’s so early in our ownership that our preference for a downtown stadium vs. Orchard Park is not existent,” Pegula said, per WGR 550.

Dolphins

Dolphins HC Adam Gase said he’s been trying to push Ryan Tannehill to his “breaking point” at OTAs.

“I put a lot on [Tannehill’s] plate,” Gase said, via the Miami Herald. “It’s almost to the point where it’s probably too much this fast. I want to see where the breaking point is. He’s been doing a good job of responding.”
