NFL Notes: Dez Bryant, Chargers, Patriots, & Steelers

Dez Bryant

• Jason La Canfora reports that Cowboys WR Dez Bryant continues to make strides and is expected to travel with the team. However, Bryant is still “very unlikely” to play in Sunday’s game.
• The Cowboys officially listed Bryant as doubtful for Sunday’s game.

Chargers

• The Chargers have TE Antonio Gates, WR Keenan Allen, and RB Melvin Gordon all listed as questionable for Sunday’s game against the Raiders. (Michael Gehlken)

Patriots

• According to Albert Breer of NFL Media, the Patriots insisted on the inclusion of an option in Darrelle Revis‘ contract so that they would receive a 2016 compensatory pick he wound up signing elsewhere.
• OverTheCap.com projects the Patriots to receive a third-round pick for Revis next year.

Steelers

• Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Steelers are still planning to start Landry Jones in Week 7, despite listing Ben Roethlisberger as questionable for Sunday’s game.
