NFL Notes: Dez Bryant, Draft, Browns, Buccaneers, & Cowboys

Dez Bryant

Jean-Jacques Taylor of ESPN Dallas reports that the Cowboys WR Dez Bryant has parted ways with one of his attorneys.

According to Taylor, the dispute between Bryant’s advisors at Roc Nation and his long-time advisor David Wells is among the reasons the receiver has yet to reach a long-term deal with the Cowboys.

Taylor adds that the Cowboys would prefer Wells to remain closely involved with Bryant in terms security when he goes out to clubs and with his day-to-day responsibilities.

Draft

  • Wisconsin RB Melvin Gordon has visited with the Cowboys, Jaguars, Browns, Ravens and Dolphins. (Jeremy Fowler)

Browns

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Browns are bringing in Northwestern QB Trevor Siemian for a visit on Sunday and Monday.

Buccaneers

  • Buccaneers officials have said that the civil lawsuit filed against FSU QB Jameis Winston on Thursday will have no effect on their draft plans. (Roy Cummings)

Cowboys

  • Tony Pauline reports that the Cowboys worked out with UCLA QB Brett Hundley on Thursday.
