Eagles free agent WR Jeremy Maclin mentioned Saturday that he wants to be back in Philadelphia next year.
“I’ve always said I want to be here in Philadelphia, but I’ve also always said I understand it’s a business,” Maclin said Saturday, via Les Bowen of Philly.com. “Both sides have made it known that we both want each other back, so the rest of it is in God’s hands. If it’s supposed to happen, it’ll happen. I want to be here.”
“Left ankle, left knee — the same knee I’ve had all the issues with,” Cushing said. “…It’s not uncommon for stuff like that to happen. It’s just little things here and there, the residual effects of two major surgeries and injuries, the wear and tear of playing throughout the season.
“There were still some things bothering me a little bit. Just went in there and had real good success in both areas and looking forward to a very healthy and productive season.
Cushing added that he’s looking forward to OTAs and offseason workouts.
