Dion Jordan

  • A source with knowledge of the situation tells Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk that there’s a high degree of confidence regarding suspended Dolphins DE Dion Jordan and his compliance with all of the requirements of his treatment program and successful completion of administered drug tests.
  • Florio’s source added that he isn’t aware of any reason why Jordan shouldn’t be reinstated.
  • Jason Cole reports if the NFL doesn’t reinstate Jordan before his $1.7 million roster bonus that’s due on 5th day of camp, his representatives will file grievance.
  • Cole adds that Jordan’s reps also question whether the Dolphins could really wipe out his roster bonus.

49ers

Packers

  • ESPN’s Ed Werder reports that the Packers believe WR Jordy Nelson‘s knee issue — to his non-surgically repaired knee — is tendinitis and the result of overcompensating during his rehab. Werder adds that this issue is not viewed as serious.
