NFL Notes: Dolphins, Packers, Patriots, Rams

Dolphins

Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post reports that the NFL is considering the idea sending the Dolphins back to London in 2015.

According to Abramson, the Dolphins will play the Jaguars on the road next year and this game is reportedly under consideration as a match up for next year’s slate of games in London.

Abramson admits that there is still a chance that the league could force Miami to play a home game overseas.

Packers

Patriots

  • Patriots signed WR Jonathan Krause to their practice squad.
  • Patriots released DL Kona Schwenke from their practice squad.

Rams

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon told reporters during a conference call Wednesday that the city of St. Louis is hoping to discuss their desire to retain the Rams franchise.

“Make no mistake about it, St. Louis is an NFL city,” Nixon said, via Nick Wagoner of ESPN. “Being an NFL city is a matter of civic and state pride and one of international significance. An NFL team in St. Louis sends a clear signal that this city is a worldwide player and sets it in a special class when it comes to a competitive, global marketplace. The economic impact of the Rams team in St. Louis extends long beyond Sunday afternoon.
