Draft

  • An AFC player personnel director said he has concerns about UCLA QB Brett Hundley’s ability to develop into a franchise quarterback. (CFB 24/7)
  • An AFC offensive line coach compared LSU OT La’el Collins to Steelers C Maurkice Pouncey. (CFB 24/7)
  • An assistant general manager for an AFC mentioned that he doesn’t view Washington DT Danny Shelton as a top-10 pick. (CFB 24/7)
  • An NFL agent expressed some concerns about the Senior Bowl being more team-friendly nowadays, and added that he may consider holding out his players in the future.

“I thought the Senior Bowl was more geared toward players in the past than it is now,” the agent said, via CFB 24/7. “Phil (Savage) does a good job of making this event team friendly since that is his background, but I’m hearing from other agents that they may start holding guys out in the future.

49ers

  • Former Eagles executive Tom Gamble was recently in contact with 49ers GM Trent Baalke. (Geoff Mosher)

Browns

  • Ian Rapoport reports that the Browns interviewed Rams QB coach Frank Cignetti for their vacant offensive coordinator job.

Dolphins

  • James Walker of ESPN wonders if Miami ILB Denzel Perryman could be an option for the Dolphins in this year’s draft.

Eagles

  • Michigan State S Kurtis Drummond is meeting with Eagles tonight. (Geoff Mosher)
