NFL Notes: Draft, Bears, Buccaneers, Texans

Draft

• Ohio State RB Ezekiel Elliott told me he will have his pre-draft visit with the Dolphins next week. (James Walker)
• Clemson LB B.J. Goodson has visited with six teams including the Broncos, Dolphins, and Jaguars over the past two weeks. (Aaron Wilson)
• The Jets are hosting Stony Brook DE/OLB Victor Ochi and Temple DT Matt Ioannidis for visits on Friday. (Dom Consentino)

Bears

• Jeff Dickerson of ESPN believes WR Eddie Royal must have a good year for the Bears in 2016 after totaling just 37 receptions last season.
• Dickerson can see the Bears using one of their nine draft picks on a receiver.
• Dickerson believes G Matt Slauson could be expendable not that they’ve signed Ted Larsen. Chicago could either look to trade him, release him, or ask him to take a pay cut, according to Dickerson.

Buccaneers

• Toledo QB Phillip Ely is working out at Buccaneers’ local prospect day. (Aaron Wilson)
