  • Tony Pauline reports that Houston DT Joey Mbu is drawing interest from the Redskins, Packers and Texans.
  • According to Pauline, Texans Southern CB Tray Walker has visits scheduled with Cardinals, Raiders, 49ers, Seahawks, Falcons, Broncos, Cowboys and Saints.

Bears

Bears HC John Fox said that they will have an open competition at quarterback this year.

“It’s all an open competition,” Fox said, via CSN Chicago. “Obviously you’ve got to start somewhere and my experience in football, really in anything, it’s not where you start a competition; it’s where you finish it.

“But we’ve got to start the race with some kind of lineup. We have not discussed that in depth. We have not presented it to our players yet. I kind of have it in my brain and then they compete.”

Chargers

  • Matt Miller of Bleacher Report reports that “a lot of very smart people” believe the Chargers will attempt to trade up to No. 2 overall.

Falcons

Ian Rapoport mentions that the Falcons are a team worth keeping an eye on in regards to Nebraska DE/OLB Randy Gregory, even after the news that he failed a drug test at the Combine.
