Draft

  • Tony Grossi wouldn’t be surprised if Clemons QB Deshaun Watson agrees to attend Senior Bowl meetings and coach interviews for a day or two, but not participate in practice or the game.
  • Matt Miller mentions that two players that are generating first-round buzz from NFL scouts right now are Utah OT Garett Bolles and Miami TE David Njoku.

Broncos

  • Mike Klis reports that Broncos LBs coach Reggie Herring and DBs coach Joe Woods will be candidates for the team’s defensive coordinator position if Wade Phillips moves on.
  • According to Klis, if Woods is hired as defensive coordinator, former Raiders DBs coach Marcus Robertson would be a candidate for Joseph’s staff.
  • Klis also confirms that the Broncos did receive permission from the Dolphins to interview Jeremiah Washburn for an offensive line coach position.

Rams

  • Charles Robinson suggests potential Rams’ coaching staff targets including Wade Phillips (Broncos) for defensive coordinator, Bill Callahan (Redskins) for offensive coordinator and Jake Peetz (Raiders) for either QBs coach or WRs coach.

Redskins
