Broncos

  • Tom Pelissero mentions that Paxton Lynch knows he’s at a crossroads with the Broncos, which is why he has been working with Tom Brady‘s trainer Alex Guerrero.
  • Pelissero adds that there is still “support and hope” within the organization that he could be their starting quarterback.
  • Nicki Jhabvala would not be surprised if the Broncos showed some interest in former Raiders P Marquette King.

Eagles

Jeff McLane writes that the Eagles and DE Brandon Graham are “no closer to an agreement” on a contract extension, while GM Howie Roseman said that the team’s salary cap situation is holding up negotiations.

Brandon is a hugely valuable part of our team,” Roseman said. “Obviously, he’s in the last year of his deal and he’s one of the most productive players at his position. He deserves whatever he can get. At the same time, we have a cap and we’re trying to fit everyone in. We’re trying to fit as many good players.”

Roseman indicated that the Eagles have a lot of players on multi-year contracts and they would like to keep as many players as they can.

We went through this yesterday – we have a lot of players who are under contract, not only for 2018, 2019, but when we get into the 2020s, and they’re good players. We want to keep as many of them around as possible and add players on top of it. That’s a challenge, that’s a puzzle that we’re trying to figure out. But it’s a good problem to have.
