NFL Notes: Draft, Buccaneers, Eagles, Saints

Draft

• 49ers HC Kyle Shanahan visited with Alabama LB Reuben Foster and said of the linebacker: “He’s a guy who really loves football and I really enjoyed being around him.” (Matt Maiocco)
• Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara mentioned that he has a pre-draft visit lined up with the Saints. (Jim Wyatt)
• Tennessee RB Alvin Kamara will visit with the Vikings next week. (Darren Wolfson)
• N.C. State C Joe Scelfo has a workout scheduled with the Jaguars on Saturday. (Greg Auman)
• Ole Miss WR Quincy Adeboyejo has meetings set up with the Lions, Bengals, and Patriots and previously worked out with the Saints. (Greg Auman)
• Richmond S David Jones has pre-draft visits scheduled with the Giants and Rams and will take part in the Buccaneers’ local prospect day. (Greg Auman)
• USC S Leon McQuay has upcoming visits and workouts lined up with the Rams, Texans, Chargers, and Vikings and could participate in the Buccaneers’ local prospect day. (Greg Auman)
• Nebraska WR Jordan Westerkamp will work out for teams at Nebraska on April 6 and has a workout scheduled with the Bears. (Greg Auman)
• Oklahoma State OT Victor Salako has worked out for the Patriots and has meetings scheduled with the Bengals and Lions.  (Greg Auman)

Buccaneers

• Pittsburgh OL Dorian Johnson has a private workout scheduled for Monday with Buccaneers OL coach George Warhop. (Greg Auman)
• Former Iowa State and UCF S T.J. Mutcherson will take part in the Buccaneers local prospect day. (Greg Auman)
• West Virginia CB Antonio Crawford will take part in the Buccaneers local prospect day. (Greg Auman)
• Youngstown State RB Martin Ruiz will take part in the Buccaneers local prospect day. (Greg Auman)

Eagles

• According to Ben Volin, the Eagles technically signed veteran DE Chris Long to a five-year, $12.75 million contract, but the agreement is really just a two-year, $4.5 million with $1.5 million available in incentives.
• Volin mentions that the final three years of the contract automatically void, which is the same structure as the contract they gave to QB Nick Foles.
• Long receives a $500,000 signing bonus to go along with a $1 million base salary and $750,000 in per-game bonuses for the 2017 season.
• In 2018, Long receives the same base salary and per-game bonuses, but also gets a $500,000 roster bonus due in March, per Volin.

Saints

• The Saints signed TE John Phillips to a one-year, $980,000 contract that breaks down to a $900,000 base salary and an $80,000 signing bonus. (Nick Underhill)
• The Saints signed S Rafael Bush to a one-year, $855,000 contract that breaks down to a $775,000 base salary and an $80,000 signing bonus. Bush also has $100,000 of his base salary guaranteed. (Nick Underhill)
