Draft

  • Matt Miller of B/R reports that Michigan S Jabrill Peppers is expected to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft.
  • Two teams have told Miller that they anticipate Peppers being a top-10 pick next year.
  • Miller believes Peppers will likely end up being a safety at the next level and could see him being a fit with the Jaguars and Jets.
  • Peter Ariz reports that Miami junior RB Joseph Yearby is expected to declare for the 2017 NFL Draft.

Cardinals

  • Darren Urban writes that D.J. Humphries solid game at left tackle could open the possibility of him playing left tackle moving forward.
  • Urban mentions that while the Cardinals are paying Jared Veldheerleft-tackle money,” the could get away with moving him to right tackle as long as Humphries is on his rookie deal.

Eagles

Giants

  • Jordan Raanan of ESPN writes that the Giants must re-sign impending free agent DE Jason Pierre-Paul before it’s too late.
  • Raanan mentions that it would be “dangerous and silly” to allow a pass-rusher in the middle of his prime to test the free agent market if they’re open to keeping him long term.
  • Pierre-Paul said after Sunday’s game that he would “love” to re-sign with the Giants.
