NFL Notes: Draft, Redskins, Steelers, & Titans

Draft

• John Keim of ESPN spoke to an anonymous scout who expects Clemson DE/OLB Vic Beasley to be drafted between picks No. 7 – No. 13 overall.
• Florida DE/OLB Dante Fowler Jr. says that he has taken pre-draft visits to the Jets, Redskins, Falcons, and Jaguars. (Alez Marvez)
• Mississippi State LB Benardrick Mckinney says he’s visited with “8 or 9” teams including the Bears, Eagles, Rams, Saints and Dolphins. (Alex Marvez)

Redskins

• Aaron Wilson reports that the Redskins are sending their defensive staff to meet with Kentucky DE/OLB Bud Dupree on Monday.

Steelers

• Steelers RB Le’Veon Bell (knee) says he’s “getting close” to being 100 percent healthy. (Mark Kaboly)

Titans

• Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean has changed his mind about the Titans taking Oregon QB Marcus Mariota at No. 2 overall, and now wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up being their pick.
• Wyatt seems to think Chargers QB Philip Rivers could be had at the right price.
• There has been a lot of talk that the Titans could select USC DL Leonard Williams in round one, but Wyatt believes they need more of an impact talent rather than a 3-4 defensive end.
• Wyatt considers Alabama WR Amari Cooper to be the kind of impact talent the Titans could use, but admits it would be difficult for them to end up getting him since they would either take Mariota or move back.
