Broncos

Broncos HC Gary Kubiak told reporters that Peyton Manning will play in their second preseason game against the Texans.

“He’s going to play. …I’ll say he’s going to play quite a bit,” Kubiak said, via ESPN.com. “I’d like our 1s to play quite a bit. Is that a quarter? A quarter and a half? Is that a half? I don’t know, I’ll see how the game goes, but I want them to get a bunch of snaps under their belt. We have some guys that have not been working together who need to work together. …Expect him to play quite a bit.

Colts

Seahawks

  • Seahawks S Earl Thomas said he’s unsure if he’ll play in the team’s Week 1 opener, but he’s “happy they’ve taken the handcuffs off me and let me kinda do my job.” (Liz Mathews)
